What is the order minimum?

Our order minimum is only 8 pieces on both screen-printing and embroidery. Promotional products vary from product to product; please check each product description for more details.

What extra charges are there besides the price per item?

The price you're quoted is always an all-inclusive price. That means that UPS ground shipping, screens, setups, and custom artwork created from scratch are always included at University Tees. The only two possible charges are sales tax (depending on your state) and a small fee of $2 for plus sizes ordered (2XL or larger).

What is the typical turnaround time?

Clothing and Apparel T/A Time:
Our standard turnaround time for clothing and apparel products shown on our website is 5 business days plus transit time via UPS Ground to your destination. An order must be submitted by noon eastern for that day to count as part of the turnaround time. The typical timeline of an order will look like this:

Monday @ 9:00 a.m.: Customer requests a quote
Monday @ 9:01 a.m.: Customer receives price quote
Monday @ 9:02 a.m.: Customer approves price quote and provides us with an artwork description
Tuesday @ 9:02 a.m.: Customer receives artwork proof via email
Tuesday @ 9:03 a.m.: Customer approves artwork, provides final sizes, quantities and other necessary order information
Monday @ 5:00 p.m: Order ships from our facility, and depending on your transit time arrives 1 or 2 days later.

*When you submit your artwork request, our design team will create your proof within 1 business day. For example, if you make your request on monday @ 9 a.m., you will see it no later than tuesday at 9:00 a.m. If you submit your art art on friday at 7:00 p.m., it will hit our designers inbox on monday at 9 a.m. and be back to you by tuesday at 9:00 a.m.

Promotional product turnaround times vary from product to product. For specific information, each product page lists the turnaround time and shipping origin. Once again, please reference this link, and simply plug in the origin zip code, and your ship to address as the final destination.

Who do i call to place an order?

Check to see if we're on your campus! Please contact your campus manager to place an order. If you are on a campus where we don't have a manager, or you are not a college student, please contact our main office by calling 800.460.8337 or simply request a quote online.

What if i have a rush order?

We can rush any order and meet nearly any crucial deadline. Any clothing and apparel order needed in 5-6 business days will be assessed a $50 rush fee and/or expedited shipping charges. For orders needed in less than 5 business days, a $75 dollar rush fee and expedited shipping charges will be assessed. For promotional product items needed in a rush, please contact your campus manager for specific details. We realize things such as procrastination happen, but we will always do our best to move around our print calendar to get you your order on time.

After i received my order, i decided that i want a few more. How does that work?

We can always reprint a design, but all reorders are treated as new orders, and the sale price for the reorder is based on the new quantity. There is a minimum quantity of 4 pieces on clothing and apparel re-orders. On promotional product reorders, the reorder must meet the minimum product quantity which is listed on each individual product page.

I have started a design, but it's not finished. Can you work with what i have created?

Once you choose University Tees, just email your Campus Manager whatever you have and we can turn it into a print ready file. Our art department is free*. Whether your design is finished or just needs touching up, we can do it! We can also create a logo or identity for your organization if you do not already have one. A $25 fee applies to artwork that is created and not ordered for print.

Can i print photographs on a shirt?

Yes. We can print photos that you have taken with a digital camera. In order to achieve a quality print, the photo must be a high resolution photo.� Photos that come from .jpg pics on the web do not work well. We can print a black and white photo on any color t shirt, but full color photos can only be printed on light color items such as white or light grey. Full color photos are printed using a process called "4 color process" and the pricing is based on 4 colors of print in that location.

I have my own shirts, can you print on them?

In order to ensure printing accuracy and consistency, we only print on items that we supply.

Can you do sewn on letters?

Yes, we commonly do sewn on letters for the Greek community. We have many colors and sizes available, click here for details. It is commonly referred to as "Tackle Twill" or "Applique". The turnaround time on tackle twill orders is 10 business days plus transit time.

I want a black t-shirt with white print on the front and back. does that count as 1 or 2 colors of print?

This is considered 2 colors, since screen-printing is based on "per color per location".�Since you have white print on the front AND back, this is considered a (2) color print.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept money orders, personal checks, and all major credit cards. If your organization uses your university's accounts payable office-we accept that too!

Are there any limitations on the design or image that I can have printed?

We work with many different licensing partners to ensure that our designs follow all the rules that our licensing partners set forth.
